That's right. "Not even a Mouse" is a Christmas card directly inspired from the classic story "Twas' The Night Before Christmas." With images of a Victorian England suburb in the background, chimneys lazily piping out smoke and a heavy, golden moon in the sky; this print more than suggests nocturnal slumber.
However, the details carved into this one-color print are anything but lazy. Intricate and purposeful marks create the scene, giving texture and movement across and otherwise tranquil vision.
Each block is hand-drawn, hand-carved and printed.
The print is made on roughly 6x9 inch hand torn paper. It is printed on Rives BFK heavyweight natural color cotton stock.
Each print is signed, numbered and titled. This edition is a limited run of 160 prints.
