Nestled in the heart of Moosup Valley, Connecticut sits this little print shop. Ever since I can remember, I've loved the sound of deckled paper being pulled away from the tacky ink of a newly registered print.
I have been printing since 2000, exploring the traditional techniques of block printing as well as diving in to new mediums in silk screen and monotype. Printmaking has always been a draw for me. So, in 2015 Paprika Press was officially born.
From letterpress to silk-screening, to block-printing and book-binding, Paprika Press creates each item using traditional methods and craftsmanship that can only be obtained by doing it the old-fashioned way, by hand. I love what I do and put that into each piece I create! In the end - that is the most important part!
