“Creature Comforts" is a hand-carved linocut and woodcut mix - with a 10 color reduction process.
This print features a lovely cardinal overlooking a wooded winter scene with a quaint cabin. Cardinals have many meanings for many people, often times the creatures are comforting, but the same way as a warm cabin fire is on a crisp winter morning.
The print is made on roughly 7x10 inch Rives BFK handmade paper with a natural deckled edge.
A reduction print is a carving that is cut from the same block, printed, then cut again, then print and repeated until the final image is complete. This means that there will never be another print like this. Truly unique!
Each print is signed, numbered and titled. This edition is a limited run of 157. Availability for purchase is very limited.
