Whether for Mother's Day, Graduation or the bird lover in your life, "Nest" is an intimate print with a warm message.
The design was hand-carved over three blocks. The first block for the sky is a subtle salmon gradient. A robin's egg blue overlays the sky with cherry blossom branches as well as creating the color base for the nesting birds. Last, a deep blue is printed by hand to fill in the depiction with intricate detail and light.
The print is made on roughly 5x7 inch hand torn paper. It is printed on Rives BFK heavyweight natural color cotton stock.
Each print is signed, numbered and titled. This edition is a limited run of 150 prints.
